Will there be any type of high rank try outs or is it just by invitation?
the group is by invitation only, unfortunately. we are looking for users on dA that are mature and active - especially in other group settings! this doesn't mean that we won't give people we don't know chances to be part of the group, though. everyone we send invites to has to go through a set 'trial' period! so if you're interested, there may be a chance for you to join up for a trial, some time in the not so distant future!

also, there are never try outs for any ranks. absolutely everyone starts out with a very under-skilled character, and the only way of gaining a high rank is to work for it - through roleplays, submissions and activity. every single member is on equal footing with one another; in this way, inactivity will also negatively affect characters, too. if a character in the pack becomes inactive, they will slowly fall down in the pack ranking, until they are either seen as a liability and kicked out by the alphas, or succumb to illness/injury. in this way, only those members most worthy of the higher ranks will be able to maintain them, and slots/competition for them will always be open!! ^ w ^

I see! It's a very good way to maintain a stable group, never really seen a system like this on DA.
